Otorhinolaryngology

An otorhinolaryngologist (ENT specialist) is a physician treating diseases of the ears, nose and throat, and also helping to improve the quality of life in case of impaired functions of this anatomical region. During the appointment, specific examinations may be performed, including tests of hearing, vestibular function, nasal breathing, voice and other tests. DSMC provides a wide range of diagnosis and treatment for ear, nose and throat diseases.

Consultation of an ororhinolaryngologist (ENT specialist) is recommended:

• in case of any severe hearing impairment or loss;
• in case of bloody discharge from the respiratory tract;
• if the hoarse voice persists for three to four weeks or longer;
• in case of prolonged ear inflammation;
• frequent strep throats, accompanied by suppuration of the tonsils, inflammation of the joints, kidneys or heart valves.
